About The Power of Early Vision (PEV) Foundation

The Power of Early Vision (PEV) is a Calgary-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black youth in Canada.

The Power of Early Vision (PEV) Foundation empowers Black immigrant youth to thrive personally, academically, and professionally by offering mentorship, education, mental health resources, and community support.

We believe in the strength of early vision, the transformative power that comes when young people are equipped to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Through seminars, leadership events, youth-led discussions, and intentional collaborations, we focus on bridging access gaps and building resilience among youth in our community.

Founded by Dr. Adekunbi Adetona, PEV believes that “strong families build strong communities,” and that nurturing early vision in children can transform futures.
